Testimonials

Amir is a great communicator and a people person. He cares about everybody he works with and mines for diverse perspective to get to the best end results.

Beyond that, while working with him i had the pleasure to confirm several of his skills, managing client relationship, managing and leading projects. But above all, his knowledge and perseverance while solving some very complex technical issues as well as data modelling problems.

I’ve learned a lot from Amir while working with him and appreciate it a lot. And i’m sure that with his leadership and people skills, he’ll make huge positive impact in any company!

Hope we get to work together again in the future!

I had the pleasure of working with Amir when I joined Osprey as the head of our Data Engineering and Analytics. Amir really spearheaded our warehouse redesign project as the key operator, helping define the scope, speaking with stakeholders to understand business context and implementing the complex configurations of a lightweight but powerful data pipeline. Eighteen month after the fact and we still look back in appreciation for the best practice and longevity I think those initial decisions allow us to yield, a true mark of success for any engineer, I think.

I think one of Amir’s greatest skills is in his approach to problem solving as a team, being able to simultaneously juggle views of best-practice theory and practical delivery goals, as well as his willingness to share and teach while going on that journey with a client or fellow teammate. Greatly enjoyed our time working together and glad I can share a note here as a testament to that.

What a blast to work with Amir! I worked with him during a POC for our data/BI project, where he served as an external consultant. He is communicative, proactive, talented, and creative. Amir is always up-to-date with the latest technologies in the data/analytics scene. His continuous learning and ability to reinvent himself are truly admirable. His aptitude for project management is exceptional, a rare quality in engineers. Did I mention his personality? Very professional, open-minded, and likeable. I would definitely like working with him again in the future.

I worked closely with Amir to for Data Warehouse Refactoring at Gung Ho Freestak Ltd. Amir is extremely proficient in his skill (SQL, dbt, snowflake, git and software engineering, in general) and communicates his ideas very clearly and concisely. He would often be the expert voice that we would rely on to make key decisions regarding our data warehouse. He followed the best practices for the data warehouse and also showed us the way!

In my experience with Amir, I found him to be very knowledgeable and confident. His deep software engineering knowledge allowed him to craft high quality solutions for us. I also learned a lot from him during the process and our team benefitted greatly from his expertise as a senior analytics engineer.

I am sure he is going to do wonders wherever he goes!

I have worked with Amir at two companies. He was a high performer at both, proving to be diligent, hardworking, and passionate about data.

At Hi-Rez he was instrumental in making data easier to retrieve for database users through the implementation of a new schema.
